Don’t Part with the Pennies
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008
Given our current fiscal instability, I would feel socially irresponsible encouraging you to spend your pennies this week rather than save them. But, the financial counseling ends here. After all, sometimes we should simply stick to what we know. And what I know is how to make you feel better on a budget. In fact, this tip will cost you zero pennies and almost zero time. Here is what to do…
In times of crisis, we women love to change our hair. A new do gives us a fresh perspective and a renewed zest for life. Today, however, instead of picking up the phone to call your stylist, pick up your comb and style yourself afresh by switching your part. Although my advice may seem anticlimactic, my clients love the way this subtle change adds body to their lackluster locks. Just like the human mind, the human hair gets complacent without a little change in direction. (Secure it’s staying power by spraying damp hair with hairspray and blowing in the new direction.)
So go ahead and give it a whorl!
