Ivy League Tools

The one petrifying time I attempted to bartend publicly, I bought an Official Harvard Student Agencies course book to consult when customers were not looking. I believed the prestigious education under $20 was an irrefutable bargain. (Considering the generous tips I made that night, I was right!) Much to my surprise, I later discovered that I could affiliate with another “Ivy League” name without breaking the bank. And you can do the same…every time you apply makeup.
The following are elite brushes for lips and eyes that will display your sass and savvy. All you have to do is visit a local art supply store.
EYES:
Princeton Art and Brush Co. (#0 Tight Spot Detailer)- This is wonderful to create clean definition along the lash line. The angle of the handle is incredibly ergonomic. It eliminates pressure on the eye because the action comes from your wrist rather than your arm. The bristles converge to a tiny point, perfect for dipping into liquid or gel eyeliner. You can also dampen the tip and use a dark eye shadow powder as a liner.
LIPS:
Princeton Art and Brush Co. (#2 Shader)- This is great for creating a precise outline of the lips and for coloring everything within. The square end makes it easy to define the peaks of your mouth. Draw an X on the center of your upper lip. The top of the X marks the two peaks. Fill in the rest of your mouth with light strokes.
Welcome to the League of Beauties…Class of 2007!
